Madison’s passion for disability advocacy began in 2011 after the birth of their youngest brother, who was diagnosed with Prader-Willi Syndrome. As a person with a disability, Madison is committed to promoting healing, inclusion, and empowerment within the community.
Before joining Bridges, Madison served as Office Manager for the Women’s Center and LGBTQ+ Services at Ramapo College and led initiatives including Intersections, the college’s first peer discussion group for queer students with disabilities. Madison’s background also includes research, wellness education, student government, and creative publications.
Inspired by artists and activists like Fiona Apple, Judy Heumann, and bell hooks, Madison brings creativity and advocacy to their work. Outside of Bridges, they enjoy collaging, strength training, and recruiting new contributors for Periphery Magazine.
